Jesus is using your partnership to strengthen these initial steps of faith. We thank Jesus for you! We are grateful for your prayers, personal encouragement, relational connections, and financial support. Every person has a role! We are grateful for each of you.

Moving & Mission
​By God’s grace, our house in San Antonio sold in early March and our friend Carolyn Biedenharn is providing a place for us to stay in transition. We plan to fully move to CO in late May/ early June, after Cora graduates from  Texas and Ben finishes his semester. 
​
God has provided property  to steward for The Dwelling!  We closed on it this morning!
​
The Dwelling 
A hospitality ministry for the restoration and renewal of God’s people towards redemptive empowerment for God’s mission, The Dwelling will serve individuals, marriages, families, ministry leaders, and ministry teams through our hospitality house. The Dwelling will provide needed space for Christians to unplug from overly scheduled lives for retreat into God’s beautiful creation to experience deep, restful, joyful, soul-replenishing connection with Jesus and others.
 
​As  Jesus allows, we will begin refreshing and refurbishing the property in preparation for our “soft opening” this fall. Stay tuned for fun ways to connect. Until then...

Abide Church
Abide Church will draw from a wide geographic area in La Plata County but intensively target “Three Springs” in east Durango, a development that has completed the first of three phases. The second and third phases will begin soon with mixed development, 2,000 new homes, and a school. 

By God’s grace, we have begun to connect in relationships. As Jesus allows, we will broaden our network of connections, deepen relationships, and discern who Jesus has called to join the church plant core group. Stay tuned for redemption stories! And

“Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but the purpose of the Lord will prevail.”
Please commit to joining us in prayer for Jesus' purposes to prevail! Specifically,

• Spiritual warfare is real. Please pray for protection and provision.
• Ben will enjoy his senior year in Colorado. Please pray for Ben to see Jesus’ shepherding care, to grow in  faith in Jesus, and to connect with new friends.
• The Dwelling property. We have crossed the starting line and hope to begin refurbishing and refreshing the property. We need wisdom and opportunity.
• Relational connections with both the church plant core group members and unbelievers/ unchurched/ spiritually uninterested folks in the area.
• For God’s Spirit to stir hearts of folks who need the ministry of The Dwelling and Abide Church. 
• To complete our 2025 fundraising goals. We are encouraged to be  @ 2/3 of the way towards reaching our goal. Please let us know if and how you would like to financially support God’s work through The Dwelling and Abide Church.
